The current standard of living of the inhabitants of slavutych is slightly higher than elsewhere for a city this size (about 25 000). The insecurity is low. The city is very clean, the people are proud. It benefits from the presence of hundreds of expatriates (including many French families) working on the international project NOVARCA of a new sarcophagus should replace the old. Fortunately, the site still employs about 3,000 people.<br />
